NEW FOR 2008
GLAA MEMBERSHIP
CHANGES TO CALENDAR YEAR
Effective
January 1, 2008 we will convert to a Calendar Year program
year for the GLAA Membership and GLAA Group Insurance Program Year.
Several small adjustments will make the
conversion smooth and easy for all parties involved.
CHANGES INCLUDE:
- An
abbreviated GLAA Program period (August 1
through December 31, 2007) will be in effect to measure results and
pay earned dividends for that 5-month period.
These dividends, if developed, will be paid in March 2008. The
New Calendar Year based GLAA insurance program will take effect
January 2008. Dividends
earned for the 2008 program year will be paid in March 2009.
- GLAA
Membership will convert January 1, 2008, to an annual membership fee
($225) running for the same January through December calendar
period. The GLAA Membership fee is due and payable by February 1st
annually to qualify for dividends. Members joining during the year
must pay the full fee, and earned dividends will be pro-rated for
the period of membership.
- Going
forward, all GLAA Memberships are on an annual calendar basis and
commence January 1, 2008 and will be billed at that time for the
2008 Program Year. Membership dues for 2007 will be extended to
cover through year-end, at which time new 2008 membership fees
become due.
