As a cost-savings measure, the Bureau of Regulatory Services will no longer mail late or reminder notices to motor vehicle mechanics. Mechanic renewal notices are sent to the address on record approximately 45 days prior to the expiration date of the certificate. A duplicate form may be obtained by contacting the Bureau's Licensing Section at 517-373-9460, by sending a fax to 517-335-2810, or by sending an e-mail message to Licensing@Michigan.gov.
